Who we are

True Frontier In Action ("we", "us") is the data controller for enquiries made through this website. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@truefrontierinaction.com.

The app collects nothing

The TFIA Aurora app has no account, no ads and no tracking. Your locations, alerts and settings live on your device, not on a server.

This website uses no tracking

This site uses no analytics, advertising, cookies or third-party trackers. We don't build a profile of you, and we don't sell or share data with advertisers.

Aurora-journey enquiries

If you submit a "Plan an aurora journey" enquiry, we collect the details you provide:

• your name and email (required), and phone if you give it;
• your travel preferences — region, timing, party size and any message.

Why, and our lawful basis. We collect this for one purpose: to pass it, with your consent, to Jo Sehgal, a specialist at an ATOL-protected travel company, so they can contact you about your trip. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the enquiry box; you can withdraw it at any time.

Who receives it. Jo Sehgal and the ATOL-protected travel company she works with, plus the email/CRM tools we use to send and store the enquiry. Any travel booking is then handled by that travel company under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data.

International transfers. Some of these tools may store data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK-approved safeguards, such as the UK addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it. We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months so we can follow up helpfully, then delete them — sooner if you ask.

Marketing is separate and optional

We only send aurora guides and journey ideas by email if you separately opt in on the enquiry form. We never add travel enquiries to a mailing list automatically, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to its use, receive a copy, or withdraw consent — at any time, by emailing privacy@truefrontierinaction.com. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything done beforehand.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
